Original Site

William Blake was a poet, artist and visionary. He was a transitional figure in British literature, being one of the first writers of the Romantic Period. To learn more about Mr. Blake, please view the Biography section.

This site is an updated version of a student project originally created in 2007. This version of the site has been modernized with the following features:

  • Responsive site created using the Bootstrap 4 Framework.
  • A Stylesheet Switcher is located on the home page. This feature allows the user a choice between two colour schemes.
  • A Trivia button that randomly selects trivia from an array.
  • An Image Gallery that displays some samples of William Blake's artwork.
  • On the Poems page there is a tab menu that displays a poem when a label is clicked.
